Just a couple clips from the Joe Hisaishi and LA Phil show at the Bowl last week… Just cause. Deeply inspiring night of music. Definitely cried a few times. #StudioGhibli #HollywoodBowl

Been learning character animation on the side for a little while now.

Lot’s to work on, improve, and polish… but not *too* bad for having never touched a facial control or lip sync before about a month or so ago, lol.

Shout out to Ere Santos for being an awesome teacher and mentor. If you ever get the chance to take a class with him, do it! Can’t recommend him enough.

(Audio is Kristen Bell from The Good Place.)

Pluribus Season 1 cast and crew!

“Neon Orange Hair-Era Josh” is in there somewhere… #Pluribus

“Wait, we got BILLBOARD money?!?”

#Pluribus, the show that I’ve been keeping quiet about for just over two years now is FINALLY out! I can finally say that during the season finale, they…

What? You really thought I was gonna spoil this amazing show in a celebratory Instagram post?

‼️RESPECT THE NDA!!!‼️

This production was NOT a cake walk, but I fully believe it was entirely worth it in the end, and I will happily do it all again... Cake or no cake. I learned SO much during the year and few months that I worked on this production. Being given a chance to work on a big budget Vince Gilligan production, starring the incredible (both on screen and off screen) Rhea Seehorn with a super talented art department? What an experience.
Every time that a new script draft came in I always got excited to not only dive deeper into this world, but to see how some of the genuinely best artists, set decorators, construction, and props people in the whole world could come together to achieve Vince’s singular vision, and how I could help out wherever I could… I can’t stress how much incredible work is in store from the “Wycaro Art Pirates” (and the whole crew) this season!

If I share anything more I’d probably get in trouble, so I’m just gonna leave this post with “Yes, Carol’s cul-de-sac is real and it is amazing. No, you can’t visit it. Ever. Google Earth it or something.”

And lastly: you ain’t seen nothing yet.

Descriptions:
• LA Billboard.
• I’m in the credits!
• 100% on Rotten Tomatoes. (All of the reviews have been overwhelmingly positive.)
• Vince Gilligan’s message before a premiere screening. Thanks Vince/Sony/Apple.
• One of many legendary inspirational Vince Gilligan quotes.
• Relevant Futurama title card gag: “Hive Mind Says Relax.”

Just experimenting with animating paint strokes… Almost like an anime action background. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Those of us on the “Pluribus” crew had a great time last night at the New Mexico United game, thanks to Vince Gilligan (who came out and did the first kick,) and the team at Apple TV. United won 4-0! Somos Unidos!
